Sleepwalkin’

Sleepwalkin’

I woke up this morning
Went out in my bones
Walked down to the corner
Put a dime in the phone
Called up the restaurant
Told my boss I was dead
Walked back to my apartment
Got back in bed

Chorus
I was sleepwalkin’
And I had to pay
Last night I was dreaming
I’m fired today

Got up the next morning
Cut off all my hair
Woke up in the mirror
What did i see there
Some bald-headed woman
Laughing at me
Who the hell was this joker
The joke was on me

Chorus
I was sleepwalkin’
And I had to pay
I thought I was so cute
I’m ugly today

Woke up the next morning
To breakfast in bed
A ring on my finger
A fog in my head
Some good looking stranger
Smiling at me
Did not see the danger
And now I’m not free

Chorus
I was sleepwalkin’
In Vegas of course
Last night I got married
I want a divorce

Repeat Verse 1/Chorus 1

I was flat on my back
Propositioned a nurse
Checked out of that hospital
Now I’m feeling worse

Sleepwalkin’
And I had to pay
Yesterday I was sick –
Yesterday I was sick –
Yesterday I was sick –
I’m sicker today
